The primary colors in this oval shape are inspired by the artworks of modernism. Whereas the artists from that period, such as Mondrian, were completely absorbed by squares, I prefer the round shapes found in nature. The oval shape most resembles an egg. Around it I playfully arranged various spring flowers, such as pink apple blossom, pink pear blossom, blue forget-me-nots, red poppies, white daisies, yellow daffodils, purple bougainvillea flowers and others. Spring in optima forma! I made the collage from a selection of my own photos. I painted the colors using Photoshop. The finish was also painted in Photoshop.
