About ‘Ponte 25 de Abril’ by Mariska Hanegraaf

Deze brug in Lissabon lijkt zeer sterk op de Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. En dat terwijl deze brug door hetzelfde bedrijf gemaakt is die de Bay Bridge in San Francisco maakte. Niet van het bedrijf die de Golden Gate Bridge maakte.
De brug is geopend voor het publiek op 6 augustus 1966, en heette oorspronkelijk Ponte Salazar (Salazarbrug), naar de premier/dictator Salazar. Op de dag van de Anjerrevolutie in 1974 werd de naamplaat verwijderd en werd de brug demonstratief met verf omgedoopt in "25 aprilbrug".
Vanuit de Toren van Belém heb je een prachtig uitzicht op deze brug.

This bridge in Lisbon looks very similar to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. This while it's made by the same company that build the Bay Bridge in San Francisco. Not the company that build the Golden Gate Bridge.
This bridge opened on August 6th, 1966 and was originally named Salazar Bridge, by the premier Salazar. On the day of the Carnation Revolution in 1974, the nameplate was removed and the bridge got the name "25 de Abril Bridge".
You have a great view on this bridge from the Belém Tower in Lisbon.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
