The artwork "Residential Architecture Erfurt - Nature & Structure" shows a modern apartment block with a clearly structured façade and several balconies. The building is surrounded by trees whose orange-coloured foliage hints at autumn. The sky is bright blue with scattered clouds. The image is overlaid with abstract, diagonal lines in shades of blue and green, which create an additional graphic layer and visually structure the motif.
The inspiration for this work came from the interplay between architecture, nature and graphic design. I was interested in how new visual levels can be created through the targeted superimposition of lines and colours - without alienating the motif, but rather interpreting it.
I wanted to create an atmosphere that appears calm, organised and at the same time lively. The picture invites you to reflect on the relationship between built space and the natural environment - and on the role of design in everyday life.
The message lies in the combination of reality and abstraction - a play with perspective, surface and colour.
In interior design, this work acts as a modern accent with depth. It is particularly suitable for creative spaces, offices or living areas that value structure, colour and contemporary design.
