The Sint Lambertus church in Beers, Noord-Brabant. This picture was taken with a modified camera that only detects infrared light. In post processing, the infrared image was converted back to a black and white image. This conversion gives just a different clerup pattern than normal black and white, the trees for example become much wityter. It gives light alienating and separate atmosphere to a photo.
The Sint Lambertus church is a neo-Gothic cross basilica, of which Caspar Franssen was the architect. The church was consecrated in 1891. The interior contains murals, stained glass windows, a Stations of the Cross and a Smits-organ. The 15th-century tower of the first church in Beers was preserved during the demolition of the medieval church. It has no buttresses and has three sections decorated with pointed archways. The tower was raised and given a new spire. In the cemetery, there are a number of historical graves, a pietà and a calvary group which, like the church, are listed as national monuments.
