The Ilm Park is part of the classicist landscape park in Weimar and was designed in the style of English gardens under Goethe's influence. The small watercourses like this one are not only scenic, but also part of a well thought-out overall design concept. My inspiration was to visualise this inconspicuous but atmospherically dense place - a moment of stillness in the flow of everyday life.
I wanted to create an atmosphere that radiates calm, naturalness and concentration. The picture invites you to focus on the details and discover the beauty in the small details.
In an interior, this work brings a natural, calming component into the room - ideal for places that are intended to promote deceleration and mindfulness.
