About ‘Storm and shells’ by Nanouk el Gamal - Wijchers (Photonook)
This spectacle on the Ameland mud flats appeared during low tide after a heavy hailstorm and a setting pale sun . We almost didn't go mudflat walking because of the weather but what a gift this image was.
Shells as far as you can see, what a valhalla!

Door de jaren heen hebben verschillende richtingen binnen de fotografie mij bezig gehouden waaronder concertfotografie, fine art nudes, cityscapes/architectuur en portretten. Maar landschappen zijn mijn grootste passie . De juiste compositie zien te vinden in combinatie met het juiste licht is een uitdaging. Maar als je de combinatie gevonden hebt is het resultaat soms verbluffend.
