About ‘The new landscape’ by Sander Poppe

The Dutch landscape is changing rapidly and around the Philipsdam, near Bruinisse, this new picture is becoming increasingly visible. Here, on the edge of Zeeland, dozens of impressive wind turbines are rising like modern giants in the vast landscape. They symbolise the transition to green energy and sustainable solutions, with which the Netherlands is working towards a cleaner future. From the Oosterschelde, especially at low tide, the landscape looks even more vast - it sometimes seems as if Zeeland is gaining a piece of land.

The wind turbines are a striking part of the horizon scene and show the power of innovation. Whether you have to get used to it or are enthusiastic about this development, it is clear that the Dutch polder landscape is permanently changing. The contrast between the natural structure of the mud flats and salt marshes and the modern wind turbines is great, but it is precisely that combination that makes this place unique.

This region is particularly photogenic, especially during magical light in the morning or evening. Want to experience the power of the new Zealand? What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
