About ‘The path through the dunes’ by Sander Poppe

The Zeeland-Flemish coast is the place to completely unwind, especially on a beautiful autumn day. Walking through the dunes near Breskens, Groede and Nieuwesluis, you will experience the pure beauty of Zeeland. Here, you let the wind blow through your hair while the soft murmur of the sea clears your head. The waves gently roll over the beach, giving you a feeling of relaxation you won't find anywhere else.

This coastal strip may be a remote corner for many Dutch people, but that makes it extra quiet. No mass tourism, but space, silence and nature. Whether you like to walk, cycle or just enjoy the view over the sea and dunes, the area around Breskens offers something for everyone. The easily passable paths let you easily discover the varied nature, from wide beaches to green dunes.

The Zeeland-Flemish coast guarantees unspoilt nature and a relaxed atmosphere, far away from the daily hustle and bustle. Here everyone comes to rest, enjoying the fresh sea air and spectacular light that characterise Zeeland. Discover this special region and be enchanted by the beautiful dunes and the tranquillity of the coast. This is real enjoyment in Zeeland!

Hello, my name is Sander Poppe. I am a landscape and seascape photographer, born in Zeeland and living in the Alblasserwaard region of the Netherlands. Nature, and especially the sea, is the common thread running through my life and photography.

Photography is more than creating a beautiful image for me. After being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and later facing other health challenges, my camera became a way to find peace and reconnect with the world around me.…

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
