The pollard willow is a sturdy tree you see everywhere in the Netherlands along the ditches, it is part of the Dutch polder landscape. It is pollarded in spring, meaning pruned, so that its branches grow back up nicely. Painted here with blue and silver alcohol ink. The ink runs through each other, so it looks like a watercolour painting. '
Fits well in a modern but eker also in a classic interior.
