About ‘When waves rage’ by Sander Poppe

The Dutch coast at Westkapelle in Zeeland offers a spectacular spectacle all year round, but on a cold winter's day the place becomes extra impressive. As the tide slowly turned and the wind grew stronger, a powerful, almost stormy atmosphere hung over the water. The waves rolled relentlessly towards the shore, slapping foamingly against the wooden pile heads, typical of the Zeeland landscape.

Despite the freezing temperature, it was enjoying nature in all its primal power. The threatening cloudscapes and the splashing seawater created a unique, rugged look. The surf not only brought dynamism, but also beautiful patterns of foam and water along the coastline. This made Westkapelle the perfect location for nature lovers, hikers and photographers looking for inspiration and adventure.

A day on the Zeeland coast in winter means fresh air, the sound of the waves and a sense of freedom. What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
