Flapper on canvas, poster, wallpaper and ArtFrame by Peter Balan

"Flappers" were young, independent women of the 1920s who stood out for their revolutionary fashion style and rebellious lifestyle. They broke with traditional norms, symbolized female emancipation, and shaped the image of the "Roaring Twenties." Their distinctive style was an expression of this newfound sense of freedom. They wore short, knee-length dresses that accentuated their silhouettes and were adorned with pearls, fringes, and sequins. The famous "Bob" haircut became the trademark of flappers, giving them a bold and modern look.
