Suzuki Harunobu (1725 - 1770) was a prominent Japanese woodblock artist of the 18th century, known for his significant contributions to the Ukiyo-e art. He is often regarded as one of the pioneers of color woodblock printing. Harunobu was distinguished for his delicate and elegant depictions of beauties, everyday scenes, and natural motifs. He played an important role in the development of the Ukiyo-e style and helped perfect the techniques of multi-color printing. Harunobu's works reflect the refined aesthetics and cultural life of the late Edo period in Japan and are highly valued artworks today, showcasing his artistic sensibility and skill.
