My feet hang over the edge of the jetty at the edge of the lake. For a moment more, I let my eyes be dazzled by the sparkles of the water. I see spots as I look into the water. It is crystal clear and I see the most beautiful colours.
This work is a cut-out of a watercolour I made in my studio in Haarlem. Using two shades of blue, a purple and green on wet paper, it created something that always reminds me of a fresh dip. After all, the cool colours are so inviting!
From the same work I have two more cut-outs available, which of course can be perfectly combined. Hang them in your bedroom where it will help you unwind or place it near your garden which will give a natural twist to your interior.
