Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.

About ‘Above the sea of clouds’ by Marcel Hechler

I spent the night at the Ramolhaus, at a good 3,000 metres. When I set off early in the morning, the valley was still shrouded in a thick blanket of cloud — and rising above this blanket, the peaks of the Gurgler Kamm stood bathed in the first rays of the sun.

On the way down over the Ramoljoch to Vent, I stopped again and again. At that very moment, the cloud cover parted on the left, and the light spread in delicate rays across the sea of fog. The mountains looked like islands emerging from the white. In front, the rock drops steeply; behind, nothing but clouds, ridges and snow.

It is this tranquillity that such mornings above the clouds possess — no sound, cool air, and the feeling of standing above it all for a moment. That is exactly what I wanted to capture: the vastness and silence of the high mountains, before the day has really begun.

As a large panorama, the image reveals its full depth. It is perfect for calm, uncluttered rooms — above the sofa, in the bedroom or study — anywhere you might wish to bring a touch of vastness and serenity to your wall.
