About ‘Abstract encounters’ by Nordlicht Atelier

This photograph breaks with classic documentary representation and delves deeply into artistic abstraction. Through deliberate motion blur, the contours of several passers-by merge into dark, flowing shadow forms. These stand out in stark contrast to a bright, almost white-glowing house wall in the background. I was inspired by the anonymity and constant movement in the alleys of Venice – a moment when time seems to stand still while everything else flows by.

The atmosphere of the image is dreamlike, dynamic and mysterious. It conveys the message of transience and the fleeting nature of human encounters in urban spaces. Technically, I experimented with a longer exposure time in order to transform the light and movement into painterly surfaces. The result is a graphic composition that describes a feeling rather than a place.

In an interior setting, this work acts as a modern and intellectual accent. It fits perfectly in minimalist rooms or gallery walls that rely on strong contrasts. Its abstract nature leaves the viewer plenty of room for their own interpretations and gives any room an exclusive, contemporary touch.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
