About ‘Amsterdam Tower also known as Shell Tower’ by Inge Bogaards
The AMSTERDAM Tower is an eighty-metre high tower on the IJ bank in Amsterdam-North. The tower was designed in 1966 by Dutch architect Arthur Staal and commissioned by Royal Dutch Shell. The building was therefore better known to many Amsterdammers as the Shell Tower.
