About "Arc de Triomphe"

About the artwork

The title 'Arc de Triomphe' seems to symbolise the triumph of nature in this picture. In the midst of summer idyll, nature has won its victory over the grey and dreary winter. The trees, shrubs and rose bushes blossom in a magnificent yet entirely natural palette of summer colours.

The natural colourfulness of this painting is mainly concentrated on the mid-tone "green". Certain areas of the painting shine in dazzling colours that contrast with the cooler, vegetationless path surface. This forms a clear counterpoint to the colourful lateral areas of the composition.

The painting, although freely invented, makes use of common compositional elements that are anchored in the general idea of natural aesthetics. It is not intended to reinvent the proverbial wheel, but rather to express what the majority of people find "beautiful" in the aesthetic contemplation of nature.

The original is an oil painting measuring 80 x 100 centimetres and was created on canvas with high-quality oil paints. This painting is related to the art movement of Impressionism.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
