Minimal landscape painting made from a stack of three organic shapes and a line drawing of a stylized tree in fall colors.
The colors beige, brown, terracotta red and orange represent earth, autumn leaves and the sun. For the stylized tree, I chose white for contrast but also as a reference to flashes of sunlight on damp autumn leaves.
The colored areas are loosened up by textures typical of watercolor paintings, such as waterspots and visible edges.
