About ‘Bindo Altoviti’ by Low Profile

"Bindo Altoviti" (style Low poly) inspiration from a painting by Raphael in (ca 1515)

Portrait of Bindo Altoviti is one of Raphael’s most distinctive Renaissance portraits, completed around 1515 and now housed at the National Gallery of Art. The painting portrays Bindo Altoviti, a wealthy banker and art patron born in Rome to a Florentine family. Unlike Raphael’s more formal male portraits, this work features a softer, graceful pose with dramatic contrasts of light and shadow, strongly reflecting the influence of Leonardo da Vinci during Raphael’s later years in Rome.

The artwork remained with the Altoviti family until 1808 before becoming part of the collection at the Alte Pinakothek in Munich. After leaving Nazi Germany in 1936, the painting was eventually acquired by Samuel Henry Kress and later entered the National Gallery of Art collection in Washington, D.C. Today, the portrait is celebrated not only for its technical brilliance, but also for its rare emotional depth and timeless elegance.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
