About "Blue reflections on folded fabric"

About the artwork

This work shows an abstract close-up of a metallic iridescent fabric lying in soft folds. The surface reflects targeted light, creating an intense play of colours in various shades of blue. The coloured points of light in the picture are not part of the material itself, but are created by deliberate blurring - so-called bokeh - which is produced by a shallow depth of field. This technique gives the picture an atmospheric depth and an almost floating effect.

The inspiration for this image was the interplay of light, texture and movement on shiny textiles. The atmosphere is calm but visually multi-layered - a field of tension between structure and dissolution. The composition deliberately dispenses with representational elements and uses an abstract formal language characterised by rhythm, light and colour gradients.

The picture conveys a feeling of lightness, reflection and visual depth. It is particularly suitable for modern, minimalist or urban furnishing styles and harmonises with trends such as "Quiet Luxury", "Textile Abstraction" or "Material Awareness".

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
