About ‘Body language’ by Tess van Oosten

We've all met or seen a shy person, but how do you know they are shy? Posture and body language says a lot and it is unconscious. We humans can also communicate very well without even saying anything to each other. each body has its own story and experiences. You can tell by a person's appearance but also by more literal markings on the body. Scars speak a whole story. It is a leftover memory that you carry with you forever. both mentally and physically.

This is a photo of a very special lady I had the pleasure of photographing her a few years ago. She struggled with liking and accepting her own body. Despite her insecurities, she was brave enough to show herself in front of my camera.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
