About ‘Border Collie in Edinburgh’ by Erika Kaisersot

Edinburgh is one of Scotland’s most impressive cities. The historic Royal Mile, winding alleyways and the imposing Edinburgh Castle lend the city its distinctive character. Amidst old sandstone houses, traditional pubs and street music, an atmosphere emerges that uniquely blends history with the Scottish way of life.

At the centre of this illustration sits an alert Border Collie in the heart of the Old Town. In front of him is a classic Scotch pie – a traditional speciality that has been part of Scottish cuisine for generations. In the background, bagpipers, historic architecture and the famous castle provide an authentic backdrop full of charm and a sense of wanderlust.

The nostalgic style is reminiscent of classic travel posters of yesteryear and combines Scottish culture, regional cuisine and one of the world’s most famous herding dogs to create an atmospheric travel illustration. A design for anyone who loves Scotland, its history and its unique atmosphere.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
