About ‘Botanical Connection’ by Monique de Wit

In *Botanical Connection*, humanity and nature merge in a gentle, almost dreamlike way. In the work, we see a woman’s back, with her head and shoulders appearing to merge into a rich bouquet of flowers. Roses, lilies, dahlia-like forms and delicate blossoms come together to form a playful crown of natural beauty. Even the smaller details, such as the loose, floating flowers and delicate stems surrounding the body, lend the image a poetic movement.

This work was created in Photoshop and arose from the idea that humans are not separate from nature, but are part of it. The woman symbolises beauty, gentleness and strength, whilst the flowers reveal her inner world. The image has a romantic, tranquil atmosphere with soft shades of dusky pink, cream, grey-green and violet-blue.

For me, this work is about connection, vulnerability and natural elegance. In an interior, it brings tranquillity, refinement and a touch of mystery. It fits beautifully in a bedroom, hallway, lounge or cosy living space where art is allowed to have a gentle yet distinctive presence.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
