About ‘Bow Fiddle Rock’ by Bianca Hinnen
Bow Fiddle Rock is a natural sea arch near Portknockie on the north-east coast of Scotland. It is so named because it resembles the tip of a violin bow. It is composed of quartzite, a metamorphic rock that was originally quartz sandstone.
