About the artwork
This artwork shows a beautiful circle pattern executed in natural colours of ochre yellow and moss green. The lines of the circle are almost hypnotic but the round shapes also have a calming feel.
My artworks are created by using photography and/or painting and/or digital image processing.
In photography and painting, I often get inspired by the different shapes, structures and patterns found in nature, for example. But nature tones are also often a source of inspiration for me.
For this softly coloured circle pattern, I painted a circle in the colours ochre yellow and moss green that blend together. At the centre of the circle is a soft shade of beige that has a slight golden sheen. These are soft colours that you also find in nature and have a calming character.
I digitally merged the photo of this painting with my own photo of a dark background covered with a multitude of leaves. This leaf motif enhances the natural look of this artwork.
On the lines of the circle pattern, the paint strokes are easy to see. The leaf motif flows nicely into the background of these circular shapes and shines through slightly in the centre of the circle.
This circle artwork fits perfectly in an interior with natural elements.
