About ‘Colosseum in Rome Italy’ by Alida Stam-Honders

In the heart of Rome, Italy, the impressive Colosseum stretches out as a timeless symbol of grandeur and history. Built in AD 70-80, this majestic amphitheatre once served as the arena for gladiator fights and spectacles that attracted thousands of spectators.

Its stone arches, steeped in ancient stories, stand as witnesses to the ancient Roman empire. One can easily imagine how the stands were once filled with cheers and excitement, as gladiators fought valiantly for their lives and the emperor raised or lowered his thumb.

Now, with the passage of time, the Colosseum quietly tells its stories to those willing to listen. Tourists wander its corridors and steps, admiring its architectural splendour and feeling the echoes of a bygone era. The Colosseum remains a breathtaking witness to human creativity and the imperishable spirit of antiquity.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
