About ‘Colourful still life’ by Sandra de Swart

A colourful floral arrangement in the style of the Old Masters. The longer you keep looking, the more you see. Because some birds and butterflies are also attracted to these beautiful flowers.
I like to photograph with the Rembrandt light to get more contrast of light and shadow and a painterly atmosphere in my work. I do this for both still life and portrait photos's. After shooting, I add the details in post-processing that give the photo the extra layer.
This work looks great as art on the wall. But you can also have it printed on wallpaper and transform a whole room into a warm, atmospheric room.

Sandra de Swart is a Dutch portrait and art photographer. After completing the School of Photography, her interest was mainly in portrait photography (of both people and dogs), but in the spirit of the Old Masters. You can see this style in many of her works. Yet her creativity cannot be confined to one specific direction. Sandra always continues to develop and be amazed by the things around her, which creates ideas for new work.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
