About ‘Danube splendour and monastic peace’ by Walter G. Allgöwer

On a sun-drenched May day, the majestic beauty of the Upper Danube Valley unfolds in all its splendour. Nestled in the heart of this picturesque landscape is the Archabbey of St Martin in Beuron - a spiritual and architectural treasure of the Benedictines, which blends harmoniously into the gently rolling valleys and lush green meadows of the Swabian Alb.
The Danube meanders through the valley like a silver ribbon, reflecting the blue of the sky and the delicate spring green of the surrounding forests. The abbey rises gracefully in the centre of the small village of Beuron, its red roofs and baroque façade glowing in the light of the afternoon sun. Surrounded by steep rock faces and dense mixed forest, this place rests in deep silence, as if time has slowed down a little here.
The view sweeps over fields, forests and hills - a panorama of rare harmony. Birdsong fills the air and a light breeze carries the scent of flowers and fresh grass. Beuron is not only a place of faith, but also a place to pause for a moment, a refuge for the soul - especially at this time of year, when life awakens anew.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
