About ‘Diest Beguinage’ by Easycopters
The beguinage of Diest is a historic district where the beguines used to live. It originates from the 13th century and is, together with 12 other Belgian beguinages, on the Unesco World Heritage list. By now the last beguines have left Diest almost 100 years ago. Nevertheless the beguinage is excellently preserved.
