Winter arrived early in 2020 and on Sinterklaas morning the fields were covered in frost. The oak trees were still in their autumn outfits and so this made for an amazing opportunity to photograph both seasons in one image. This is one of my personal favorites. I love how oak trees, but I also love the perspective in this image with the birch trees on the left arching towards the middle of the frame and on the right side a path is almost hidden by the fog. The hoarfrost on the meadows made this scene look serene
