About ‘Gazelle’ by Ronne Vinkx
Gazelles (genera Gazella, Eudorcas and Nanger) are a group of ungulates in the subfamily of true antelopes (Antilopinae). There are about 15 species, including the Thomson's gazelle. The name gazelle comes from the Arabic word ghâzal, which refers to the animal's gracefulness.
