Goosenecks State Park is a small park in southeastern Utah state, close to the town of Mexican Hat. There is only one lookout point, from which you have a view of the San Juan River, which flows in several large curves through the 300-metre lower landscape. As the crow flies, the river here covers a distance of 1.6 kilometres, but the flow distance is a whopping 8 kilometres. The bends are popularly called Goosenecks, i.e. goose necks.
