About ‘Greenhouse Effect’ by Bart Henseler

Greenhouse effect or greenhouse effect is double here in this drone photo.

1. This effect was used at this abandoned factory site to transform the sheep wool into thread. In this process, the wool was washed and rinsed several times (both with water and also ammonia). Then the wool had to dry... Nothing deter then transforming the entire roof of the then factory into a large greenhouse or conservatory.

2. But partly due to the greenhouse effect, the warming up and thus the change of our climate, it was here in 2021 that the factory was flooded by heavy and localized downpours. The entire factory was under water up to the first floor! Unreal to see the consequences of this now (September 2022)!

This dry-image was made from a height of 50 meters and shows the greenhouses where the wool was dried.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
