Hasan Pasha Mosque is a historic Ottoman mosque located at the Venetian port of the city of Chania in Crete. It was built by an Armenian architect and is the first mosque built in Crete. Currently, the Hasan Pasha Mosque is used, among other things, as an exhibition space.
Chania is a city on the northwest coast of the Greek island of Crete. It is known for its 14th century Venetian harbor, narrow streets and waterfront restaurants. At the entrance to the port is a 16th century lighthouse with Venetian, Egyptian and Ottoman influences.
