About ‘Havana Classic’ by Robert Betzl

In the glistening midday sun of Havana, a lively street scene unfolds that looks as if it has been cut straight out of a bygone era. In front of a row of elegant, slightly weathered colonial buildings stand classic American road cruisers in soft pastel colours: a turquoise car, a gleaming white vintage car and a deep blue convertible. Their shiny chrome bumpers reflect the intense Caribbean light and add sparkling accents to the warm asphalt of the street.
The architecture in the background tells the story of the city. Tall windows with round arches, wrought-iron balconies and fine stucco decorations characterise the facades in off-white, cream and pale pink. Colourful laundry hangs on the upper balconies, drying in the sun and swaying gently in the warm breeze – small splashes of blue, red and yellow against the patina of the old walls. Everything carries the unmistakable atmosphere of Havana: slightly faded, but full of life.
People move through the scene between the parked cars. A man with a shoulder bag crosses the street, an elderly woman with a headscarf carries a green shopping bag, while a small group of men are engrossed in conversation next to one of the vintage cars. Their clothing in shades of blue, beige and white blends harmoniously with the summer colour palette.
Above it all stretches a clear, deep blue sky. The scene appears both calm and lively – an authentic snapshot of everyday life in Havana, full of nostalgia, warmth and that special Cuban serenity that makes time stand still for a moment.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
