About ‘LOST PLACE: The Forgotten Station – When Nature Takes Back’ by HyggeHavn

This image shows an abandoned railway line winding its way through overgrown terrain towards an old station building. The tracks are overgrown with moss, grass and small plants, as if nature has slowly and patiently reclaimed its space. The building itself is covered in graffiti, crumbling yet full of character. Sunlight filters softly through the trees, bathing the scene in a warm, almost hopeful atmosphere – a fascinating contrast between decay and new life. Inspiration: I wanted to depict a place where stagnation and change coexist. I am fascinated by the idea of how places that were once full of activity and significance slowly fade into oblivion and are reshaped by nature. For me, this image symbolises change – the end of something old and, at the same time, the beginning of something new. This design is ideal as a wall mural or wallpaper for living rooms, offices, lofts or creative workspaces. It brings a calm, contemplative atmosphere to the room whilst also having an inspiring effect. Perfect for anyone who wants to combine urban aesthetics with a touch of nature and history.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
