About ‘Lake Braies’ by Marc Ploum

There are places you don't visit, but which you enter as if you were stepping into another world. Lago di Braies, hidden in the majestic Dolomites, is one such place. Early in the morning, a soft mist still hangs over the water. The mountains are reflected in the turquoise surface, so clear that it seems as if the sky itself has fallen into the lake. It is quiet — except for the soft rustling of the wind through the pine trees. Every breath feels fresh and pure, as if the air here has not yet been touched by time. Slowly, the sun colours the rock faces gold. The water changes from deep emerald to light blue crystal. Wooden rowing boats lie waiting on the shore, as if they could start a story at any moment. As you glide across the water, all you can hear is the gentle lapping against the wood. No rush. No noise. Just you, the lake and the mountains that stand around you like silent guardians. The path around the lake invites you to wander. Every bend reveals a new view — a reflection, a ray of light, an unexpected silence. Here, time does not seem to move forward, but simply to exist.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
