About the artwork

A McDonnell Douglas MD-11 of Saudi Arabian Cargo on the Polderbaan.

The McDonnell Douglas MD-11 (also known as Boeing MD-11 and affectionately called elf by its fans) is a three-engine long-range jet passenger aircraft with a maximum take-off weight of over 280 tons. The aircraft was produced by the American aircraft manufacturer McDonnell Douglas, which later merged with Boeing.

The MD-11 was the successor to the DC-10. The aircraft made its first test flight on January 10, 1990, and in December 1990 Finnair was able to take delivery of the first example. After the merger of McDonnell Douglas with Boeing, it was decided to stop the production of this aircraft type as of March 2001. The last MD-11 intended for passenger flights rolled out of the factory in 1998. Two years later, the production of cargo planes was also closed. A total of two hundred MD-11s were built.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
