This original design and painting, by Dutch painter Tanja Koelemij, was inspired by 17th-century flower still lifes. In particular, on the paintings by the painters Rachel Ruysch, Jan Davidsz de Heem and Jacob van Walscapelle. "Magenta Bloom" is made with a quick touch in a loose, sketch-like manner.
