The Marktkirche Unser Lieben Frauen, also known as Marienkirche, is the youngest of the medieval churches in the city of Halle (Saale). It was built between 1529 and 1554.
With its three-nave hall construction, it is one of the most important late Gothic churches in central Germany. The church houses the baptismal font at which Georg-Friedrich Händel was baptised. The Marktkirche is one of the most important late Gothic buildings from the Renaissance period in central Germany. Together with the Red Tower, its four towers form the landmark of the city on the Saale.

Halle (Saale) is a city in the south of Saxony-Anhalt in Germany and, with a population of around 227,000, is the fifth-largest city in the new federal states and the second-largest city in Saxony-Anhalt.
Halle is home to one of the oldest universities in Germany, the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. Halle has a number of important cultural and museum facilities, such as the Moritzburg Art Museum in Halle (Saale), the Handel Birthplace and the State Museum of Prehistory with the Nebra Sky Disc, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Halle's historic city centre survived the war almost unscathed. Many buildings from past centuries have been preserved and characterise the appearance of the old town today.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
