About ‘Monkey Forest Ubud’ by Bianca Hinnen

The forest of Ubud Monkey Forest is a protected nature reserve of about 12.5 hectares of hilly jungle. Here you will find at least 115 different species of trees and countless more species of plants and flowers. Apart from monkeys, the boos are also home to other wildlife including deer, civets, reptiles and many species of birds. When you enter the park you get the feeling that you have landed in the middle of a large jungle. For a moment you forget that the forest is surrounded by the city, villages, fields and rice paddies.

Within Hinduism one strives for a harmonious relationship between man and nature. Many plants and animals, including the monkeys, have a religious function in Bali. Many trees in the park are sacred because they play an important role in Balinese rituals. In particular, the tree species Majegan and Bandak Pule are significant because of their spiritual functions.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
