The "Natural History Museum" in London. When I went to London for a weekend of photography last weekend, this was perhaps one of my favorite subjects. I had seen pictures of this beautiful museum a few times before and was very impressed by them.
The trick, of course, is to find a good angle here that is interesting and, not unimportant, take a picture without an audience. The latter was a challenge here anyway. My idea was to enter here as late as possible so that there were already fewer visitors present.
Armed with camera and my favorite wide-angle lens, a Voigtländer 12mm, I went in here around 5 o'clock. Once I arrived, I went straight upstairs as I had already checked out a few things. After taking a few test shots, I had found the perfect spot. Now I just had to wait for people to be sent downstairs. When that was done, I quickly took some shots and was also asked to leave the museum.
Eventually, I process all my shots at home to make them suitable for your wall. For this photo, the trick was still to remove the remaining people present but after some effort, I succeeded.
