About ‘Raw Pages, 14 March (2)’ by Melanie Calis

This Raw Pages series was born out of necessity. It was a time when I could do nothing but give visual expression to what was going on inside me, at that moment, on that day (see the date in the title). Unfiltered, unplanned and raw. Kept like a diary.

Whereas previous series focused on figures and the relationships between them, this series is about the emotions and feelings within the figures. No more, no less.

The simplicity and minimalism of the works leave room only for the essence. Although the artworks may mean whatever they mean to each individual, or even nothing at all, they have brought me back a little further. My wish is for a moment of reflection, for everyone who feels drawn to this work.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
