The Heliconia Olympic Flame is one of the smaller Heliconia species. The flower consists of only 3 to 4 segments. In other species this can be many more (up to a few dozen). Art, color and inspiration from the tropical rainforests. That is what has been my motivation behind every photo. All my work was photographed on the spot in the jungles of Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador during a seven-year stay.
