About ‘Schwerin Cathedral’ by Holger Felix

St Mary’s and St John’s Cathedral in Schwerin was built between 1270 and 1416. It is one of the finest examples of North German Brick Gothic architecture. It serves as the cathedral of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northern Germany in Schwerin. At 117.5 metres, the neo-Gothic west tower is the tallest church tower in eastern Germany and the tallest building in the city of Schwerin. Those who climb the tower’s 220 steps are rewarded with a breathtaking view over the nave, the state capital of Schwerin and the Schwerin lake district. In total, the imposing structure of Schwerin Cathedral is 105 m long, with a vault height of 26.5 m. This makes it one of the largest Brick Gothic church buildings in Northern Germany. S'Cathedral has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2024 as part of the Schwerin Palace Complex.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
