The Seychelles are an archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean off the east coast of Africa.
La Digue is the smallest of the three inhabited main islands of the Seychelles. Around 2,200 inhabitants live on 9.81 square kilometres. The island is world-famous for its beaches, such as Anse Source d'Argent with its granite formations on the west coast.
