About ‘Soulsisters’ by Christel De Buyser

Three women stand side by side, rooted in colour and strength. Their bodies are composed of expressive sweeps of red, yellow, green, blue and gold - like layers of their stories, emotions and memories. Each brushstroke exudes vibrancy, and yet their stance is soft, protective and connected.

Their faces are hushed, almost abstract - so that any viewer can recognise themselves in them. They wear headdresses like crowns of pride, their arms gently bent, linked in a rhythm reminiscent of dance, support or silence. They speak without words.

Against a bright, cool blue background, they shine like firewomen in harmony. They differ from each other and yet form a unity. It is not perfect symmetry, but a human one - as sisters, girlfriends or soulmates can be: together, even if they are different.

"SoulSisters" is a visual poem about solidarity, joy and shared strength. Not loud or confrontational, but with a playful flair and tender energy that lingers.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
