These roses from the garden were brought together in an atmospheric still life and photographed in natural light on one of those typical autumn days where the sky is veiled, seeming to lay a soft blanket over the world while at the same time the warmth of the sunlight can still be felt.

The leaves that crumple and fall out more and more show that winter is really coming and their rose life will be over.
This still life shows how beautiful transience can be. There is a dreaminess in it, a sense of wistfulness but also the certainty that in the next year everything will start all over again.
