View of the Van Tienhoven mill - Wolfshuis, Bemelen
From the Maastrichterweg near Sibbe, the Margraten plateau stretches open and silent. At the edge of the landscape stands the Van Tienhovenmolen, recognisable by its white hull and dark sails. In the warm light of the setting sun, the mill takes on a soft glow as its shadow stretches long across the field.
The view is clear and spacious; the horizon fades into shades of gold and orange. The lines of the land are simple and pure, the light playing with the relief of the plateau. Here, in the stillness of the evening, time seems to stand still for a moment.
The mill stands as a silent witness to labour and wind, to the rhythm that once determined the harvest. An image of peace and balance where technology and nature meet, and the day silently turns to night.
