About ‘Sunset over rugged coast’ by Joran Quinten

This atmospheric photo was taken during the golden hour on Pink Beach, one of Bonaire's most popular spots. The sun is slowly sinking into the Caribbean Sea as its warm light fills the sky with shades of gold, amber and soft violet. In the foreground, the dark volcanic rocks contrast sharply with the soft glow of the sun. In the pools between the rocks, the last light of the day reflects, as if the sea does not want to let go of its sunlight.

The photo is built from an HDR composition, which ensures a rich dynamic range: no detail in the sky or shadows is lost. This creates a balanced image that looks both soothing and vibrant. The composition offers depth and a natural symmetry, with the horizon dead straight and the sun exactly in the middle as its radiant centre.

This artwork brings warmth and serenity to any interior. Perfect for above a sofa, in a home office or holiday home. It invites you to pause for a moment - to breathe - and let your thoughts drift to tropical shores. A timeless scene that never gets boring.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
